Balance Gymnastics

On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January, Alicia's Level 3 IDP Pink Springers ventured to NSW to attend their first interstate IDP clinic at Shell Harbour which was hosted by Carmel & Co Gymnastics Centre.  The clinic focused on new skills progession and development.  A number of specialist coaches, attended who focused on specific apparatus and their areas of expertise throughout the weekend.

• Valery Kaladzinski - Head Coach WAG - Australian Institute of Sport
• Ming Lu - Former Chinese National Team Member and Chinese Coach
• Xiaoqing Li - Former Chinese National Coach
• Stacey Umeh-Lees - National Choreographer 

This was a great opportunity for the gymnasts to get personalised advice and training from some of the best coaches in the country.  Despite the hot weather and the 8 hours training days, the girls trained exceptionally well and have now had a fantastics start to their prepareations for the upcoming competion season.
