Women’s Gymnastics Victorian Championships 10th – 13th June, 2011 State Netball Hockey Centre
Our IDP (International Development Program) girls competed on the weekend at the Women’s Gymnastics
Victorian Championships at State Netball Hockey Centre. Balance had gymnasts representing the club at Levels 5, 6 and 8.
Over the 2 days, stand out performances include: IDP 5 Team 3rd Overall - Sophie Hubball 3rd beam, Hannah Triantafillis 5th Beam, IDP 8 - Karla Danelutti 3rd beam and 5th Overall. How ironic that 'Balance' gymnastics did so well on the balance beam ;-).
Personal best's include: IDP 5: Olivia Ayton Day 1 Floor, Sophie Hubball Day 1 Bars and Beam, Hannah Triantafillis Day 2 Bars, Beam and Floor, Molly McCormack Day 1 Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor! IDP 6: Emma Hubball Day 1 Floor and Rachel Keane Day 1 Beam and Floor. IDP 8: Karla Danelutti Day 2 Beam and Floor.
